What a fab evening – I am so pleased I was able to get inside the Olympic Park and the Olympic Stadium and watch an evening of first class athletics. Jessica Ennis was amazing! In the lead after day 1 – lets hope she can maintain the lead. Though I should say, she was just one of many great athletes, none of the events failed to disappoint.
I was really looking forward to seeing the stadium ‘in the flesh’ and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m really looking forward to going back tomorrow.
